1. About this policy
This policy applies to the Mivra apps, browser extension and official website. In this policy, “Mivra” refers to this independent software product, and “we” refers to its providers and maintainers. Contact details are in the last section. Features vary by platform, edition and permissions.
Workspace content is stored on your device unless you choose an available connected service. Sign-in requirements depend on your edition and service. Review the scope and data practices before enabling a connected service. Configuring a third-party translation or AI provider does not by itself create a Mivra account.
2. Information on your device
When clipboard capture is enabled, the app processes copied text, images, links, code, file references and available source-app metadata on your device so you can find and reuse them. Notes, tasks, bookmarks, screenshots, translation history, vocabulary, indexes and preferences are also stored in local databases or files.
You can pause capture, exclude apps, change retention or delete content. Sensitive-content detection cannot find every password or secret; pause capture when working with this material.
3. System permissions and recording
Screenshots, scrolling capture and screen recording require the relevant screen access. Camera and microphone access support the recording options you select. Accessibility or simulated input may support requested paste, selection and automatic scrolling.
Permissions are requested when needed. You can deny or revoke them in system settings, which may disable the related feature. A system permission does not replace any consent you need to record other people or their content.
4. OCR, translation and AI
Local OCR uses an available platform engine. Extracting text does not by itself send the image to a translation provider. System translation depends on operating-system support, languages and rules.
For online translation or AI, following the applicable sharing authorization, selected text or supported image content, languages, model and request parameters are sent to your chosen provider or configured endpoint. That provider applies its own policies. Recognition, translation and generated output may contain errors.
5. Third-party services and network requests
Online services authenticate with your configured credentials and may charge separately or retain requests. Check the recipient before authorizing sharing. Revoking access or removing a provider stops future authorized requests, but does not erase copies already held by it. The local edition includes no operator-managed model allowance.
Requested or enabled page information and link previews disclose the requested URL, including any path or query, and network information such as your connection IP to the destination. Optional place search sends your submitted place and interface language to the configured geocoder, by default OpenStreetMap Nominatim. Calendar weather sends coordinates rounded to four decimals to MET Norway Locationforecast. Place preferences remain local; we do not infer a place from your IP or system location.
6. Website, diagnostics and support
The website stores a browser language preference and serves its own fonts and product artwork. It currently embeds no advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Hosting and download services still process network information needed to serve requests, such as IP addresses, request times and resource addresses, under their applicable terms.
Desktop developer diagnostics are off by default and require explicit activation in Settings. They permit controlled metadata such as error codes, phases, counts and versions, not clipboard, OCR or translation bodies, credentials or private file contents. Diagnostic files are not automatically uploaded.
When you contact support, we receive the email address, message and attachments you choose to send, to reply, resolve issues and retain necessary legal records. Do not send passwords, provider keys or unnecessary private content. A support request does not give us remote access to your local database.
7. Purposes and legal bases
We process relevant information to provide requested features, respond to support, maintain security and meet applicable legal obligations. Using a local feature does not give us a copy of content that remains entirely on your device.
Where GDPR or similar rules apply, the legal basis depends on the activity: performing a contract to provide the service you request, consent for optional processing, necessary and balanced legitimate interests in security and support, or a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
8. Retention and security
Local records remain until you delete them or an applicable retention setting removes them. Support communications are kept only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet necessary security, dispute or legal obligations, not indefinitely simply to retain them.
Local storage does not mean that the entire database is encrypted. Protected collections and encrypted backups cover only their stated scope. Protect your device, backups and credentials. No software or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
9. Deletion and independent copies
Use the app to delete history, translation records, vocabulary and other local content, pause capture or revoke sharing. Deleting a file reference does not delete its original file.
Exports, backups, saved screenshots, the system clipboard and copies in other apps or third-party services must be managed separately. Uninstalling may leave system-managed or manually exported data. Where account services are available, manage account-held data separately. See this website’s data-deletion guide for details.
10. International use and disclosure
Mivra is available to people in different regions. Online services, support and website infrastructure may involve recipients outside your country, where laws can differ. Review your chosen service’s privacy policy before submitting content.
Where an international transfer for which we are responsible is subject to applicable law, we will apply the safeguards it requires. We do not sell clipboard content or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information we actually hold is disclosed only where you choose to share it, as needed to provide services, to handle a valid legal requirement or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law and the activity, you may have rights to information, access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. Start with the app’s controls or contact support@zyravo.store about information we actually hold.
We handle requests within applicable statutory deadlines and verify identity only as needed. You may also complain to a competent data-protection authority. These rights and their exceptions depend on local law and are not restricted by this policy.
12. Regional information and children
EEA, UK and other regions where GDPR or similar laws apply: where applicable, you have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a supervisory authority.
California: to the extent CCPA/CPRA applies, you may request to know, access, correct or delete relevant personal information, use an authorized agent as permitted by law and be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising rights. The current local edition does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The product is not directed to children below the applicable local age of consent. Contact support if you believe a child has provided information we should not collect, so we can investigate and act as required.
13. Policy changes
We may update this policy as features, services or legal requirements change and show the revised date here. For material changes to personal-information processing, we provide notice or obtain consent as required by applicable law. Continued use alone does not replace legally required consent.
14. Contact Mivra
For privacy, data-rights or product-support questions about Mivra, contact support@zyravo.store. Non-sensitive product issues can also use this website’s feedback link.
State the product edition and data scope so we can help with your request. You do not need to send local clipboard content, passwords or provider credentials.
